When I saw the title, I thought it was a reboot of the first book in graphic novel format that would be great for reluctant readers. However, this is an additional story that takes place in the world of Rot & Ruin somewhere between the 2nd and 3rd books of this 4 book series. This means that if you haven't read the series and you intend to there are spoilers. It is a decent story that puts the 4 main characters in another interesting situation with a new group of survivors living on a farm. However, I don't think I would have been interested in it if I hadn't already known the characters back stories. Overall, it was lackluster, the artwork was mediocre, and I wish it had a subtitle that let me know that it was an additional storyline. I would only recommend it to teens that have already read through the 3rd book in the actual series, which is a small target audience at this point. This graphic novel was a bit frustrating and disappointing. This graphic novel is not a comic adaption of the novels but a continuation of the story. I enjoy zombie stories and although some scenes were reminiscent of other stories out there, the plot itself was interesting. The artwork complimented the story and I enjoyed it. Leaving an open ending will allow readers to decide if they want to read future stories. I know I do. sin reseñas | añadir una reseña
Four friends travel through the Sierra Nevada mountains, one step ahead of the zombie hordes and a long way from their destination. No se han encontrado descripciones de biblioteca. |
