( ) MaraBlaise | Jul 23, 2022 | There are more ghosts here than people. The characters aren't telling us all they know and they aren't telling us the truth, either. I don't like talking to ghosts. I'm skeptical of that aspect of the story, but other than that, The Night Visitors is about a world of shame and secrets, where the stories we tell ourselves aren't necessarily true but the truth will out. This was a powerful page turner and I will read more books by Goodman.
