This is a traditional telling of the classic Frog Prince story and it sparks a number of good conversations regarding what is right and wrong. However, I was dismayed at the end to learn that the spoiled princess, who actually throws the frog at a wall, gets to marry the prince. Reward for a sullen, and ultimately mean, keeping of a promise should not be rewarded. I had never read the traditional story before, so it was a surprise when I learned that this book followed the original tale so closely. Read A Frog Prince by Alix Berenzy instead. Good behavior is rewarded and the prince and the princess are perfectly matched. Tis is a story of a beautiful princess that makes a deal with a speel bpund frog to be his friend. After the princess did not believe the frog would be her friend he followed her to her castle where he transformes to a prince and they get merried and the spell is broken. This is a good judgement lession book. sin reseñas | añadir una reseña
