I liked the story, however, for an intelligent mother of teens she seemed to lack common sense in dealing with social media. That really annoyed me. I kept thinking, "What are you doing?" If you can ignre that then it's an enjoyable read. ( ) Esta reseña ha sido escrita por los Primeros Reseñadores de LibraryThing. I received this book from Library Things Early Reviewers in return for my honest review. This book is different from the books I usually read however I really enjoyed this book. It has a really interesting story line and I didn't want to put the book down once I started. It has definitely made me think twice before posting on social media in the future. Esta reseña ha sido escrita por los Primeros Reseñadores de LibraryThing. OMG! One Click is a nail biter that I'll remember for a very long long time and I won't take for granted of what I post on the web! How could a harmless picture cause so much TROUBLE? Esta reseña ha sido escrita por los Primeros Reseñadores de LibraryThing. THIS is why I love the early reviewers program...every once in a while you get a gem like this! I clicked on the book to make sure it had downloaded properly and 1/3 of the book later I was still there. It is not often you get a bit of a lesson without it feeling in your face, but you do here. And it does this without taking away at all from it being just a spectacular psychological thriller. sin reseñas | añadir una reseña

When Lauren takes a photo of a stranger on a beach and shares it online, she has no idea what will come of that single click. Her daughters are surprised that she posted a photo without consent, but it's only when she starts to get anonymous messages about the woman on the beach that she deletes the photo. It's too little too late, and the messages escalate, prompting Lauren to confess to the woman. The woman has her own dark story, one that might explain the messages, but Lauren isn't convinced. Meanwhile, the messages from the internet troll become more personal and more vindictive. And then she makes one small mistake that brings everything tumbling down.
