Viola Davis does a wonderful job continuing Corduroy’s adventures as his curiosity in the theater takes him to the stage performance itself! The story keeps with the style and character of the original well-loved Corduroy stories. ( ) I chose this book because I loved Corduroy as a kid; it was one of my favorite stories. As I was reading, however, I felt like the illustrations were slightly different. Upon further examination of the cover, I saw that this book was by a different author and illustrator and that it was only inspired by the Corduroy book by Don Freeman. It was still a wonderful story and filled me with nostalgia. I was so excited to read this book and reminisce about the first corduroy book where he got lost in the mall. Corduroy is so adventurous and innocently mischievous like a small child. In this book Corduroy wandered away from his owner and ended up being the centerpiece of a play. No matter where he goes or what he does corduroy is always loved among everyone. sin reseñas | añadir una reseña
