I enjoyed this one quite a bit more than the last few. I like Roe more and more and I also really like Angel. I have to say I'm not a big fan of Martin though. There were only a couple of things that bugged me but they're not even worth mentioning because overall I enjoyed this one. I enjoyed this book. A very quick read and the characters were somewhat different than the ones portrayed in the Hallmark series. I found them a little flawed, which is satisfyingly normal rather than the more perfect Hallmark characters. I enjoy these books as a diversion from some heavier reading like "The Historian" or "Game of Thrones". Part-time Librarian Aurora Teagarden is relaxing in the backyard when a plane flies overhead and a body falls from the sky, narrowly missing friend and bodyguard Angel Youngblood. Two federal agents arrive in town to investigate the murder and incidents start to point to Aurora herself being in danger. A good read. sin reseñas | añadir una reseña

Mystery.
Best-seller number five from Charlaine Harris' beloved Aurora Teagarden series places the amateur sleuth directly in harm's way. Detective Sergeant Jack Burns and Aurora never got along, and now Jack's dead body has been dropped from a plane directly into Aurora's back yard. Murder is personal this time for Aurora- but has she received a mere message, or a gruesome warning? ''Infectious prose, engaging characters, crafty plotting ''- Library Journal. This of course leads to another mystery to be solved. I’ve read so many mixed reviews on this series. I feel like these books are what they are...they aren’t meant to be literature or even a deep read. They’re just quirky little stories where belief needs to be suspended for a while. Basically, just enjoy the ride and shake your head at all the unlikely events that occur. ( )
