This is the third and last of 'Dream' series and this time Nina Stone, who featured briefly in 'The Dream' locks her estate agent horns with laconic bookseller John Sawyer, over the proposed developments at Crosslyn Rise. The lead characters are quite appealing compared to books one and two. Widower John's four year old son is just adorable, and instantly wins over Nina's reserve about children during her convalescence.
I read this a long time ago and having re-read it, the appeal of John and Nina is just the same. I didn't agree with Nina's work ethic and I adored John's patiience with her during her illness and showed her that there was more to life than burning the midnight oil. ( )
