The opening was clumsy and pretty boring but for me it started to flow part way through, perhaps after he had set up the conditions for the time travel and Artemis 'the younger' entered the stage. I have read only one of these books before, can't remember which, and I remember enjoying it. This needed perseverance but I did enjoy it by the end. ( ) Another classic from Colfer. I am not really one of those adults who reads a lot of young adult fiction, but this series is really outstanding. There is quite a bit of violence, however, so parents of those ten and under might want to consider if their child is ready for these books or will be disturbed by descriptions of injuries and several scenes depicting a woman who is near death from illness. sin reseñas | añadir una reseña

When Artemis Fowl's mother contracts a life-threatening illness, his world is turned upside down. The only hope for a cure lies in the brain fluid of the silky sifaka lemur. Unfortunately, the animal is extinct due to a heartless bargain Artemis himself made as a younger boy. Though the odds are stacked against him, Artemis is not willing to give up. With the help of his fairy friends, the young genius travels back in time to save the lemur and bring it back to the present. No se han encontrado descripciones de biblioteca. |
