A literary weave, reminiscent of the short stories Story magazine used to put out before they went bust. ( ) The way Rebecca Miller presented the characters in each story forces one to connect with them on a personal level. Even though many of the women lived through situations that I hope I never have to, I was able to feel what that particular situation might do to ones soul. It forced me to put myself in difficult situations and see what decisions I might make if the tables were turned. I loved the stories of Julianne and Bryna..as they showed the similar ways that two women living very different lives can still connect through human nature and care. The last story of Nancy was very unexpected, but intriguing. A little girl mentally scared by her parents distance and other things unsaid, shows us that even though the outside may be rough and surrounded by walls, her heart is still able to love. A delightful book for sure! sin reseñas | añadir una reseña
