Loved the format of this book and the illustration's ability to promote discussion. Definitely promotes the skill of comparison and contrast. I think this book could be used to bring up the issue of change and the depreciation of nature/the simple things in life. ( )

This book reminded me of The Mysteries of Harris Burdick. It featured different photographs of specific places that evolve over the years. It was interesting to observe the photographs and compare the changes. I would love to use in my classroom. The students could observe the photographs, drawing conclusions, and pick a place to write about. ( )
