I've saved a lot of these quotes to my Goodreads profile :) ( ) Oh how I wish I avoided this book. Because it sucked. This is a nothing book filled with random meandering quotes and thoughts with very little purpose. Written in the same vein as the Series of Unfortunate Events, only diehard Lemony Snicket fans will appreciate this parody of a self-help book. Frankly, it was depressing. More depressing than the Series of Unfortunate Events books because they only concern the Baudelaire's whereas this tackles thoughts and advice based in one own's life. I would've been happier without reading. 1 star. Horseradish was just what I needed after some of the books I've read lately. Lemony Snicket put together a collection of quotes from his Series of Unfortunate Events along with a few other thoughts. It was great and some of the quotes brought me back to those books. I've been feeling in a Snicket sort of mood and Horseradish hit the spot. Some of my personal favorite quotes from this author. Genius thoughts, some bitter truths about "Home, Family, School, Work, Entertainment, Literature, Travel, Emotional Health, Affairs of the Heart, A Life of Mystery, The Mystery of Life, An Overall Feeling of Doom that One Cannot Ever Escape No Matter What One Does and miscellaneous things that I have neglected to mention in specific." sin reseñas | añadir una reseña
Collects an array of disheartening truths and unhappy observations drawn from the author's work, including "siblings who claim to get along all the time are most definitely hiding something." No se han encontrado descripciones de biblioteca. |
