Haaridian, a world at war! Jedi master Obi-Wan Kenobi and Anakin Skywalker join Soara Antana and her Padawan Darra Thel-Tanis to rescue republic scientists. After a long escape the Jedi return to Coruscant to seek medical aid for the scientists (who's lead by Tic Verdun, Practical theorist, planitary origins) and Darra, who was hurt in battle. She loses her lightsaber and Anakin blames himself for injuring Darra and almost blowing the whole mission. Meanwhile, Obi-Wan travels to Omega's home planet,a small moon called Nierport Seven. He finds out that Granta Omega is disguised as a fearsome senator on Courscant. Obi-Wan goes to interrogate the senator only to find out that that Tic Verdun is also Granta Omega! When his friend Tic Verdun has a lead on Granta Omega Anakin Tries to prove that his master needs him! Tic Verdun(a.k.a. Granta Omega) and some of his friends lures Anakin into a trap and paralyzes him with a potion. It held all his secrets but were erased remotly by Omega and left the Jedi with nothing. ( )

Another nice book for the series all the action and Jedi skills you would want with a good story for it all to stew in, this and the rest of the series I have read I would definitely recommend for any star wars fan although you have to realize it is a children's book so it is a very short read but good none the less. How do you defeat an enemy whose riches by unlimited power?
How do you defeat an enemy who is a master of disguise?
How do you defeat an enemy you cannot find?
Anakin Skywalker and Obi-Wan Kenobi are facing a very real threat from a very elusive adversary, who is as cunning as eh is evil. He will stop at nothing to draw others to the dark side and undermine the Republic. If the Jedi do not stop him, it will mean danger for the whole galaxy. ( )

Omega is clearly the precurser/foreshadowing character of the Chancellor to Anakin; charasmatic, friendly, deceptive, luring, but an evil SOB underneath. This SHOULD have been a lesson to Anakin.
Then Anakin thinks about how a Sith Lord killed Qui-Gon. How can he ever join them after that
But you can see his charcater slowly developing into the Anakin we know in AotC
Impulsive and egotistical.
Loved Loved Soara and Anakin's private lessons. Anger fuled his battle with Ferus and I loved how she told him the truth. Of course he walks away with his ego of having to prove Soara wrong. She's right he has so much potential and too bad it's never met.
I also liked the lesson with running and fliping off the wall and how it comes back at the end with the tidal wave (and later on in the series.) ( )
