Lisie's book The beginning was a little hard to get into, only because it was a little slow and the excerpts of the Ireland heartbreak travel guide were a little jarring at first. We're dropped right in the middle of an argument between siblings, which was hard to get into because we don't know why they're arguing. But once we get into the story and the traveling around Ireland, it gets good. I liked that the romance of the story was more of an undercurrent while Addie tried to mend herself and her relationship with her brother after what happened back at home. I definitely would recommend this book if you're look for a sweet, heartfelt read. Okay - given the Love & Gelato book and it's one of my fav reads during the month I read it - I had super high hopes for this book, and it sort of let me down. I like the fact that it gives you a bunch of Irish facts within the book, I couldn't get enough of those parts of the book - the rest was just overall a slow read, I don't know if I just didn't like that nothing truly happened (until near the end). The concept was sweet broken hearts mending but i just wanted more than I got. Still a great adorable read and I'm glad I read it! sin reseñas | añadir una reseña

HTML:A New York Times bestseller From the author of the New York Times bestselling Love & Gelato comes a heartwarming tale of a road trip through Ireland filled with love, adventure, and the true meaning behind the word family. Addie is visiting Ireland for her aunt's over-the-top destination wedding and hoping she can stop thinking about the one thing she did that left her miserable and heartbrokenâ??and threatens her future. But her brother, Ian, isn't about to let her forget, and his constant needling leads to arguments and even a fistfight between the two once inseparable siblings. Miserable, Addie can't wait to visit her friend in Italy and leave her brotherâ??and her problemsâ??behind. So when Addie discovers an unusual guidebook, Ireland for the Heartbroken, hidden in the dusty shelves of the hotel library, she's able to finally escape her anxious mind and Ian's criticism. And then their travel plans change. Suddenly Addie finds herself on a whirlwind tour of the Emerald Isle, trapped in the world's smallest vehicle with Ian and his admittedly cute, Irish-accented friend Rowan. As the trio journeys over breathtaking green hills, past countless castles, and through a number of fairy-tale forests, Addie hopes her guidebook will heal not only her broken heart, but also her shattered relationship with her brother. That is if they don't get completely lost along No se han encontrado descripciones de biblioteca. |
