Will wonders never cease? I think this is absolutely the most fun I've had with this series of collections.

Just a collection of some of Lovecraft's exceptionally short short stories, these ones are an awful lot of fun. Yes, there's a point to me stating "awful" as there's a couple in here that do truly highlight Lovecraft's unfortunate racial bias. It can't be ignored, nor should it, but if you just skim those parts, while thinking, dumbass, you'll be fine.

These stories are gems, aside from that one bit, and still worth the read.

Yes, he was a racist. Yes, it's deplorable. But once again, until everyone stops reading Orson Scott Card and William Peter Blatty due to their overt homophobic beliefs, I'm going to continue to read the guy who's inspired a lot of the modern masters. ( )
