Hillary Greene is called out at night to Steeple Barton, where a body has been found in a cowshed. A body of a female in a bride's dress. A good interesting mystery, well-written and an easily read story. I have enjoyed all the first three books in this re-issued series and look forward to reading more. Received an Advanced Reader Copy. Something keeps drawing me back to these - and the fact that they are on Kindle Unlimited helps. I think this was the best one yet. I'm glad Hillary and Regis finally got their misunderstanding cleared up. I'm intrigued about what the new boss Jerome is up to and disappointed in Hillary at the very end. The court case concerning her house is so clearly without merit that I hope that thread is dropped completely soon. sin reseñas | añadir una reseña

DI Hillary Greene is called out to attend a suspicious death at Three Oaks Farm in the picturesque village of Steeple Barton. The large farmhouse is filled with music and revelers, but when she steps into the farm's cowshed, Hillary finds a dead bride. Dressed in a sumptuous white wedding gown, the young, beautiful redhead had clearly been strangled. But not everything is what it seems, and the victim turns out to be at the center of a web of jealousy and intrigue in the close-knit village. Many of the villagers have a motive for murdering her but they're not giving up their secrets easily. Can Hillary discover the real reason for this brutal crime and cope with the spiraling revelations about her dead ex-husband? No se han encontrado descripciones de biblioteca. |

The beautiful young woman dressed in a bridal gown was found strangled in a manure strewn cow shed.
There seem to be few suspects until Hillary and the team start digging and snooping to good effect. The office politics are complicated, but not nearly the mess this crazy case turns out to be. A riveting read!
Gemma Dawson is the voice actor who really brings even more credibility to the story. ( )
