Three young men, lost in the woods, find a fearsome inn, which is run by a witch and her demon husband.

Unfortunately, and very surprisingly, this is so clumsily told that all charm and mystery are absent from the story, and even the marvelous illustrations can't save it. I'm not surprised I was able to find it in a library discard sale. ( )
