Told in third person narrative from the mother's perspective (she remains unnamed throughout the story), she tells her son (through the course of the story it is not necessarily said the child is a boy, but by the pictures I assume the child is a boy) the different ways she loves him, even when he is bad, while he is good, and what he does that makes her love him. This was the sweetest short little book about a mom and how she loves her kid. Good rhyming scheme and great pictures. The kid is adorable! I would send this book home for read-a-loud for parents to read to their kids in younger grades.

I thought this story was simply enchanting. The illustrations were cute, in a collage type format. This book epitomizes the power of parental love and the bond that mothers and children share. The narration is written in a rhyming style that blends well with the story. As I was reading, I could feel the tenderness and warmth between the two characters. Great story. ( )
