On each page of this book, a color photograph of a furry, adorable puppy is captioned with a two-word phrase in large black font. The rhyming text and clear photographs introduce young children to various adjectives (large, small, white, etc.), nouns (puppy, ball, pair, etc.) and verbs (play, nap, etc.).
Puppies, Puppies Everywhere! is a wonderful book for toddlers, who enjoy rhyming texts and for whom the book would provide helpful language development experiences. Toddlers will also find enjoyment in the book’s many irresistibly cute photographed puppies.
As an adult reads this book with a toddler, he or she could point out objects in the room that are white, large, and small and act out napping, playing, and other action words with the child. These activities will deepen the child’s understanding of each of the vocabulary words depicted in book.
