I though this book was just okay, I don't remember it that well which shows it wasn't that good. However, the book is fun to read out loud by using your voice when it repeatedly says, Bumpety-plunkety-thumpety-thump! ( )

In K.L Going's "Bumpety, Dunkety, Thumpety-Thump!" two children explore the sounds that are made by objects in their everyday lives. The rhythm o f the story comes from the rhyming onomatopoeia's that the author has in the book. This would be great for kindergartners, identifying sounds in their lives that they enjoy hearing. ( )
