Jessica and Elizabeth Wakefield and their brother, Steven, are visiting Wild West Town with Grandma and Grandpa Wakefield. It's the best trip they've ever taken. In this one, the twins and Steven are taken to Wild West Town by their grandparents. The sub plot here is the sexism of Steven and Grandma Wakefield, and it isn't addressed very well, leaving the message very unclear. I would have liked a more direct condemnation of the idea that girls can't do things that boys can do—especially when that thing is something as ridiculous as wearing a particular kind of dress-up.
