There's a monster in your book" is about a monster who will not get out of the book. This book is adorable for students to mimic and act out what the book tells you to do in order to get the monster out of the book. This book is appropriate for the Preschool level to 2nd grade. The students can read through this book and can learn about facial expression, hand gestures, words, and when to read a sentence properly using the appropriate punctuation at the end of a sentence. For students in preschool the teacher needs to guide the students and build their literacy off this book. The reader is invited to try various things to get rid of the monster: shaking, tickling, blowing, tilting, wiggling and spinning, but nothing seems to work. I think the part where the book tells the reader to yell will engage the students even more to the book. Once the reader(s) finally gets the monster out of the book, the monster is sad and scared. The next part of the book teaches compassion. Even though the moral of the story is to get the monster out, this teaches students that the monster has feelings too. No matter the size, height, color, or shape. A student should treat their peer as equal. I rate this book a 5/5 star rating. sin reseñas | añadir una reseña
