However, there were more stories I felt "meh" about than stories I absolutely loved. I liked the way the anthology was divided into past, present, and future. I can totally say I enjoyed the stories from the "past" the best. I'm not a huge fan of sci-fi and fantasy so those didn't really appeal to me. They weren't bad- just not my jam. ( ) Leigh0906 | Mar 1, 2018 | Esta reseña ha sido escrita por los Primeros Reseñadores de LibraryThing.HOWEVER, having said all of that, the reason I'm writing this right now (when I'm far from finished with the book) is because I just finished reading Marissa Doyle's "Alea Iacta Est"—about a young woman in early-1800s London who takes the place of her injured brother playing tabletop war games at a gentleman's club—which was an absolute DELIGHT, and has totally rekindled my interest in this collection.
