"All Kinds of Friends" by Shelley Rotner, is a book that illustrates the different friendships that young children can have. Would be good for kindergarten through second graders, and would be a good prompt for students to speak/write about what kinds of traits they look for in friends, and how to tell if someone may not be truly a good friend to them. ( ) I absolutely loved the photographs in this book. They showed all kinds of friends from different sizes and shapes, different ethnicities, different ages and different abilities. With one sentence every couple of pages, this was a simple book with a big message. A great book for beginning readers. The publisher generously provided me with a copy of this book via Netgalley. All Kinds of Friends by Shelley Rotner is a fantastic celebration of friendship in all forms. The cover exemplifies fun to be had with a group of 9 kids on playground equipment. The book contains photographs of real children along with one line of text on each page. The kids shown are doing all kinds of fun activities from horseback riding and playing ball to reading and holding a puppy. The book is simplistic yet full of life! It explores differences, feeling, and most definitely, FUN! "What kids of friends do you have?" I definitely recommend this for library collections and all young readers! sin reseñas | añadir una reseña
