The President assigns the case to the secret service to avoid having J Edgar Hoover snooping around. Eleanor helps out and of course, comes up with the solution. In those days, it was easier to get on the white house grounds and into the white house then it is now. This is a quick and easy read with real people and places.

The writing is adequate; the details of White House life are, naturally, good The Roosevelts are a bit idealized, naturally enough. ( )
