I mean, I knew it had something to do with protesting unfair taxes but it always seemed like a bit of a rash step without the details. Now I get it. I mean, there was a whole build up to it. It wasn't just some rash reaction by a collection of colonists fresh from the taverns. They were by-the-book process-oriented people who were out of other options. Kroll does a good job of explaining that this wasn't a sudden reaction. He explains what led up to this incident and how those involved attempted to avoid it beforehand. ( ) “The Boston Tea Party” by Steven Kroll and illustrated by Peter Fiore is a Historical Fiction book that took place between April 1764 to April 1775. It gives all the events that lead up to the Boston Tea Party. Since I still remember the events of the Boston Tea Party, this book only refreshed my memory. But it does great in describing all the events accurately. The illustrations I thought helped make the book more interesting and appealing. Any teacher or parent can use this book to further the learning on past events. The vocabulary in this book is a little more challenging and could make a child feel successful after reading this book. sin reseñas | añadir una reseña
