Hello, fire Truck is about a how the dog firefighters rescue a kitty and its house from a fire. You need to call 911 if you see a fire. Then the firefighters race to the house in their red fire truck. The firefighters use their tools to help kitty get out of the house safety, and put out the fire. Finally the firefights clean up and head back to the firehouse.

This book is a good simple way to start talking to young children about fire safety. I read this book to my 1 and 3yrs daughters. My youngest said to help save cat. I thought that it was a good start for her way on learning more about fire safety.

Extension ideas I would use would be to use this in a fire safety unit. You could use this book when you doing a unit on community workers. You could also use this book to talking about the color red, and transportation.
