It had the words going around the words/ illustration of the stories. I think this is a good book for older kids not young ones. It will probably be difficult for them to try and follow along because it can get a bit confusing for a new reader. The illustrations are really good with the book to follow. ( ) Collection of concrete poetry gives shape to light in its many forms. From the flicker of birthday candles to a flash of lightning, the powerful beam of a lighthouse to the gentle glow of a bedside lamp, light illuminates our world in wondrous ways. Exploration of light, and open your eyes to an amazing new way of perceiving poetry. Overall I think this book is great for a child, and I really don’t think that an adult would enjoy reading it unlike many other children poem books that may intrigue some adults to continue reading on their own time. The one plus for this book would be al the illustration in it, very eye catching for younger children and helps keep their attention. This is a very good example of poetry books because it is a collection of poems. I really like the way these poems present. They are in shapes. Children will be attracted by these forms. Also, the rhythm of these poems is fantastic. Teachers can use to book for read aloud and arouse students' interests in poetry. The media may be lithographs. Nice. Most of the poems are absolutely dependent on the pictures, because they're concrete shape poems. Even the color of the font matters. And most of the poems, and drawings, are quite simple. Probably terrific for tots. I have to be honest though and say that it didn't thrill me, and I would not choose it as a gift for a grandchild or teacher - and I actually don't think even I'd check out from the library more than once to share with the little ones. That is to say, it doesn't have anything to chew on, or anything that sticks with a reader. Imo. sin reseñas | añadir una reseña
