Here’s what I liked. Ray Drayton has taken historical fact and created a story that links past and present events. Past events include WWII and how the RAF operated and how many young men were lost in their effort to keep the world free.
He tied “Odessa” and the Nazi escape routes into the story as still being active politically and ideologically. He was able to build this story based on the 2015 media furor over the reported finding of a German treasure train. Two treasure hunters claimed they found a Nazi treasure train in a sequence of tunnels in Poland,
Here’s what I didn’t like
The beginning was weak .. the meeting of the characters was not in anyway believable. The synopsis had a very senior RAF man who is succumbing to his war injuries and AUTISM, I think the author meant dementia. There were frequent misspellings that at times caused me to shake my head.
But, overall this was an interesting story with credible background, that I enjoyed. ( )
