Crazy-good book about one of the most messed up families in recent literature and the crankiest old lady ever in the history of cranky old ladies. I lurved every page of this extraordinary book. Daisy, Marsha and Dan, sister in law and sister and brother respectively, share a house in London where one is slowing dying and the other two are going loony. The book covers the decades of their lives that lead up to the final tragedy- which is narrated in the opening pages. So it's all about how these people came to this awful, awful place in their lives. It's just amazing! ( ) sin reseñas | añadir una reseña
Two women looking back over fifty years: one full of regret, the other not admitting to mistakes and continuing to be fiercely positive. Which approach, in the end, is likely to prove more satisfying--both for Daisy herself and for those who live around her? No se han encontrado descripciones de biblioteca. |
