While some books on the subject of Sabbath-keeping degenerate into an exposition of the dos and don'ts of how Christians should use their Sundays, Bruce Ray has taken another approach. He presents the Sabbath (Lord's Day) as a gift from God for our benefit rather than a burden to be borne. Undergirding his position with teaching based in both the Old and New Testaments, he encourages the reader to look at the Fourth Commandment from the perspective of God's sovereignty rather than our own wills. By doing so we can bring greater glory to the Lord we serve and find blessings for ourselves in the process.
