Found browsing at the Watertown library; I recognized the illustrator's work from The Loud Book and The Quiet Book. Different from Barnett's collaborations with Klassen, this gentle book uses its two unnamed main characters to illustrate many situations, feelings, and activities. A wonderful book to share with little ones, as it will provide some new vocabulary.

Adorable book covering a wide range of emotions. This book is very simple in wording yet the illustrations capture the emotions very well. I think this is a good tool to support student's vocabulary development and would be a good challenge for struggling readers. I love that it is two friends that are going through the day and the emotions together. It made me think about my best friend and the emotions we experience as close friends. ( )
