Sweet FTL story with plenty of good feelings that left me smiling. All three of the main characters are fun even though Nick comes across like a true loser. ( )

I think this is too short to really showcase Lane's excellent writing ability. There's no time for showing what's going on so there's lots of telling and glossing over. It's not as good as the longer books in other series, but I'm going to give the other books in this series a try. I just wish it was longer so that the story telling was able to be better. ( )

I really enjoyed this. It was a great friends to lovers story. They have been friends for years, but all of a sudden start to notice each other in a way that brings their friendship closer. Zane has had a crush on Eric, but Eric has been in his own world. Finally seeing Eric in a new light brings happiness and comfort that he didn't expect. They were super sweet together, and I liked that there wasn't a ton of drama and angst to get in their way. I'm looking forward to reading more of the series. ( )
