Family Drama Maggie marries Nico who has lost his first wife, Caitlin, to illness. She is unable to do anything right in the eyes of her mother in law, who holds Caitlin up as the epitome of a good wife. Nico's brother Massimo, and his wife Lara, have a son, Sandro. The family dynamics are very complex and the book takes the reader through a roller coaster of emotions. It is so well written that you begin to think you are a part of the family. It is powerful, chilling, moving, thought provoking, and amazing. I couldn't put it down and highly recommend it. This book wasn’t exactly my cup of tea. It had the plot to be something great, but definitely didn’t meet expectations. In my opinion it was a very dull wanna be suspense novel. The characters were very bland, I guess the best one is Maggie, the only one with somewhat of a back bone an hint of normalcy. I just found myself rolling my eyes a lot and just trying to get through it. Hard pass for me. Much better books out there. sin reseñas | añadir una reseña
