In this one Detective Bobbie Gentry is kidnapped by the serial killer, The Storyteller. She is part of the team investigating the killer when he breaks into house, abducting Bobbie and killing her husband. I don't want to say any more because I don't want to spoil the story. I really like Debra Webb's series. I enjoyed this story and look forward to the first book in the series which is coming out next year. The ebook has a teaser for the first book which I wish I had not read because now I am impatient for the book to come out. Well, that will teach me! sin reseñas | añadir una reseña

What a stellar beginning of a new series that whets your apetitite for more. I didn't necessarily like the first few pages for some reason. Maybe could've added a few more for the intro, but Webb certainly ramps up the suspense for the remainder of the book! Gripping narrative and internal monologue that won't let you go! ( )
