I really like this book, I loved the characters Mia and Lucas. The story was really well written. The only issue I had was the fact that it kind of stopped in a couple of areas for me, but that might have been me and not the story itself. But I would highly recommend the author and story to people. (

I enjoyed this book, but not as much as the first in the series. I think it's probably because I rarely find second chance stories to be as enjoyable. I'd rather enjoy the thrill of a new romance than hash over what is often petty grudges over the stupidity of youth. Teenagers make stupid choices, it's how we (hopefully!) learn to make better choices in the future - get over it.
Given that, I found grown up Lucas and Mia to be reasonable people with robust lives and the suspense story was interesting without being too over the top. I'll definitely read #3 when it comes out. (

This installment in the ARES series is an edge of your seat thriller with a whole load of romance. Back home Lucas St. Clair has deep roots and big connections but he wants nothing to do with them. Which is why he left them and the only woman he had ever loved behind. But when Mia Ramon is threatened he will move heaven and earth to keep her safe. But Mia is wary of the man who broke her heart. And she is determined not to depend on him ever again. Unfortunately, they need each other to figure out who killed their friend and who now has Mia in their cross-hairs.

Alexandra Ivy writes romantic suspense like Christina Dodd in my opinion. Lots of red herrings, lots of suspects, lots of danger. It all makes for a very compelling story. I didn't love this one as much as Kill with Mercy, but its still an enjoyable read! (

The ARES men are back.

I’m finding that I enjoying the ex-military heroes who band together, like brothers, to form their own business. It is such a fantastic and enjoyable concept to read.

Kill Without Shame is full of mystery, suspense, a second chance romance, and so much more. It was a non-stop page turner, entertaining, and satisfying. I enjoyed the mystery surrounding the murder and Mia. All the characters where easy to like. The second chance love story was captivating and adorable. Lucas and Mia worked together and made a great couple. And, last it was nice to see more of the other guys Lucas works with. They each have their own unique abilities and backgrounds and to see how they stand up for one of their own, it’s touching.

I had a delightful time read Kill Without Shame. I LOVE the men of ARES Security and can’t wait for the next installment.
