This short Peanuts book does collect some of the best "wit and wisdom from the world's best-loved cartoon characters" (the lengthy subtitle). It contains a number of famous lines from the 50-year-run, most illustrated by a companion drawing of the speaker. Some are instantly applicable ("A life should be planned inning by inning"), some are very philosophical ("Love is not knowing what you're talking about"), and others -- well, they're just a bit odd ("Insulate the ol' attic"). It's a fast read, and it makes a nice gift book for Charlie Brown and Snoopy fans. ( ) sin reseñas | añadir una reseña
Peanuts Wisdom on Parade What do cartoon characters know about life? Plenty, if they reflect the sentiments of the world's most beloved cartoonist. The late Charles Schulz was the first to use the human condition -- rather than action and adventure -- as the basis for a comic strip. Peanuts Guide to Life presents Schulz' classic observations, his most charming counsel -- filtered, of course, through his loveable cast of characters. You'll find them all inside this book -- Charlie Brown, Snoopy, Sally, Lucy, Schroeder, Peppermint Patty, Marcie, Woodstock -- sharing their wry observations and advice. Foreword by Andy Cohen.
