Mark Olson has brought together all of Wesley's primary writings on eschatology for the first time to be studies and compared. Olson has surveyed the historical context tfrom the sixteenth to the eighteenth century and explains how Wesley's views changed over time. The major themes of Wesley's eschatology are addressed along with charts outlining his views on eschatological fulfillment through the centuries. Wesley's eschatology informed his overall theology and his views on salvation, Christian discipleship and holiness in particular. Wesley believed Methodism to be an end-times movement that would one day usher in the millennial reighn of Christ.
