What a gem of a novel! Kari Iroz is a new author whose main female character is a 25-year-old, single, Mormon woman with a quick sense of humor. Jacklyn Wyatt is a student at a college working a job at the mall when she is approached by the FBI! Jacklyn or Jack as the character prefers to be called is asked to go undercover because a woman is missing. The missing woman’s features are similar to Jack’s plus she belonged to the same cyber-dating site. One of Jack’s sisters signed her up for this site so Jack has no working knowledge of who has contacted her for dates. The FBI gives Jack some dossiers to review so she knows who she is meeting and so the adventure for Jack begins! There is humor laced throughout the novel that made me burst out laughing many times, which enhanced the novel’s attraction even more.
The story is filled with danger, action, humor, romance and some references to the Mormon faith. While this reviewer doesn’t hold to the beliefs espoused by the author, it is nevertheless a clean mystery with all the other elements previously listed. The main male character is the FBI Special Agent Damon Wade who, at first, creeps Jack out, but wait until you discover how he does so! This is a great book I think many will enjoy for the entertaining story!
