DNF at 23%

I wrote a review on Amazon, waiting for them to put it online so that I don't have to write 2 reviews.

I enjoy reading romance novels every now and then but this one was just over-the-top with a promising premise that was ruined with cheesy trite dialogue and a female leading character that first whines that the guy that they previously agreed online to see his apartment on a craigslist ad at a specific time opened the door butt naked. Jake then acts all prissy because she's expectedly disgusted at the crude welcome but then whines that she wants to live in his apartment because he had good decoration taste.

I feel like the book was a waste of time. I suggest you should pass it and read something else. ( )

If one needs to go out of their way to ruin the competition like this, it must be one crappy book series that wouldn't make it otherwise.

I don't usually do this. Actually I really hate when people don't read books and give them ratings...but this is special. This is personal. I love romance...and erotica ...and love stories...after sampling this persons work I can tell you that she does not write any of that. She writes smut for profit.

She writes porn.

How do I know this if I didn't read her mess? I read the sample from Amazon. It is horrible.!

That's right...she is not an author. She has figured out how to make money from Amazon by churning out garbage and wiping out anyone who has the the word Cocky in their title or book. That's right...Amazon and it's affiliates are pulling other authors books because she went after them. In the most underhanded, nasty way possible.

She has taken to social media to cry about her being bullied....but she is the bully. She is the one who did this and caused great harm to authors who love the craft. She wants their money. Plain and simple...blackmail...take down your books or I will come after your money.

Sigh.... this hurts my friends. This hurts everyone who loves the written word. This is unacceptable.

I am warning everyone to stay away from this poison.

I don't care what she writes or who are followers are. Good for them...if you are into this sort of crap. But you don't do this to people who are crafting their 'BRAND' with their names.

I will never purchase, read, look at, or borrow anything she has written by this name or any other name she comes out with.

Finally I hope Karma meets up with this horrible person soon....and in the most unexpected way. ( )
