The other books in the series are The Texas Rancher’s Rescue and Coming Home to Texas, both by the same author. In this novel, the action is centered on Witt Buckton and one of his employees Jana Powers. Witt is building another arm to the Blue Thorn business by beginning to take bison burgers to new customers via a truck with a Chef, Jana, but more than a new business venture is blossoming. Romance, faith and some danger are just parts of the beautifully weaved story. I was hooked into the book until the very end. I loved how the Buckton family wasn’t perfect and had some issues that they needed to decide whether to face or let distance build. The characters were real and I loved the redemption and hope restored as themes also in the book. All in all, it won’t take a reader long to get through the book and enjoy the story. Perhaps you know of someone who would also enjoy reading it, and maybe you can pass on your copy or gift a copy! sin reseñas | añadir una reseña
Wrangling Her Heart There's a lot riding on Witt Buckton's fresh start in Martins Gap, Texas. His cousins at Blue Thorn are counting on him to make the new arm of their ranch business a success. First, however, he'll have to figure out how to work with Jana Powers. The petite, energetic spitfire immediately locks horns with the blue-eyed rancher. But she doesn't just challenge him--she captivates him. As they work together, Witt and Jana discover common ground...and something more. Sweet Jana has left her brand on Witt's heart, and now he faces his greatest challenge yet: convincing her that love can be worth the risk. No se han encontrado descripciones de biblioteca. |

I did like that this book focused more on business (a food truck) rather than a romantic relationship.
Jana is hired as the food truck's chef (because of a former relationship with Ellie) and is trying to hide from and forget former boyfriend Ronnie.
Witt is trying to prove his worth to his father and brother-in-law after feeling forced out of the family business (but being accepted by his cousins to develop a new part of their business).
As a result, they both have some of the "I'm not lovable" vibes--and a feeling of wanting to work hard to prove themselves before having personal relationships.
Jose was a nice addition and added some humor to the story. I'm glad he found a talent in cooking and is being supported by both Jana and Witt in getting additional training for that talent. In one way, I hope we get to see a story with Jose in the future--perhaps one while he is in cooking school but definitely one once he is ready to return to the Blue Thorn Ranch family and either have his own food truck or take over the kitchen at the restaurant Witt envisions.
