This is a great book for elementary kids because it lists good facts about the solar system and has bright pictures. It teaches students about each planet in the solar system. I think this would be a great book to use in an elementary science classroom. ( ) A good baby board book with colorful paintings of planets. It doesn't have annoying singsong rhyme, so can be read over and over without pain. It invites the toddler to point at one planet, trace Saturn's rings with a finger, and finishes with a panorama of all the planets, asking baby "Where would you like to go first?" Pluto fans, rejoice: Pluto is included, with no aspersions cast on its character. This is a great and information book for children about the solar system. The book provides information and has an illustration for each planet in the solar system. Because this is a short book, a teacher could read this to students before teaching a solar system lesson. It gives readers lots of visuals, and it also includes a little bit of information about each planet. Hello, World! Solar System by Jill is a good read for grades 1st to 3rd. The book teaches children about each planet and lists facts about that specific planet. When you read, notice how different each planet is! The illustrations are exciting and fun for the children to look at while they read. It teaches students good surface level information about the Earth and our solar system, but I think the story could have gone more in-depth. I think regarding ELL students, the illustrations will definitely come across on what the story is about. This book is very fun, creative, and colorful that kids will enjoy reading it and learning about the solar system.
Genre: Nonfiction; Science This book is about the solar system. It goes through the solar system in a fun and exciting way. This book would be great to use in the classroom to help teach younger grades about the solar system and what it is. Pertenece a las series
"Every young child loves to look up at the moon in the night sky. Now here's a book that can teach toddlers about the sun, moon, stars, and planets-- with colors, shapes, sizes, and super-simple facts ("Can you point to the red planet? That's Mars!"). It's a perfect way to bring natural science into the busy world of a toddler, where learning never stops"--Publisher. No se han encontrado descripciones de biblioteca. |
