This book has a great way to spend a summer break, embarking on a scavenger hunt and finding a bit of romance. Nicole is fulfilling her Grandmother's final wish and finds herself in Sunriver, Oregon searching for clues in a scavenger hunt. I liked seeing how Nichole was able to enjoy her time even though all did not go as planned. The resort that she is at seems like a great place to visit and I always enjoy a good mystery and this book had more than one.

A Love to Treasure is a book with a double-entendre title. Nicole Davis, Kimberly Johnson's female protagonist, has returned to the idyllic resort community of Sunriver, OR for the summer. As she follows a treasure hunt left by her beloved late grandmother, she also gets to know undercover detective Mark Stone.

I loved how Nicole's and Mark's relationship developed,but how Kimberly also had Nicole make time to befriend Susan and her trouble-magnet nephew, Connor. While most people might not find themselves in a situation like Nicole's, it sure was fun imagining trying to take enjoy a resort while trying to face so many uncertainties.

Having read several of Kimberly Johnson's novels before, this has got to be the best yet. The others were like your favorite flavor of frappuccino. Adding the mystery to the romance in this story was like adding whipped cream and a maraschino cherry to the top of said favorite frappuccino--PURE DELIGHT!!
