The directions, however, are in a light-gray font that looks completely faded out in less-than-bright light. Eleven chapters with a nice section on menu planning. Overall, I like this book. It has simple, no-frills recipes with fairly standard pantry ingredients. A good choice for cooks who like to keep things simple. ( ) this is a fantastic cookbook. not only does it have great recipes (which are ready in a flash, more often than not, as well as being brief in the ingredients), it encouraged me to remember that the best dishes i serve are often the ones in which a very few items shine forth in their best light.
