The Return of Walker Lee: Like the song goes, my heroes have always been cowboys, so I'm dedicating this story to them. As a young girl, I was held hostage until the very last page by Zane Grey's stories about the Old West and the men on horseback who conquered it. As I grew older, Louis L'Amour became my author of choice. Now, as a writer myself, I find I'm drawn to creating the same type of heroes for my stories: men with indomitable spirits and never-say-die attitudes. Tough, hard men who know when to be gentle. To the cowboys.
