I received this ARC of book one in exchange for an honest review and Ms. Grant is my newest favorite and am dying to read the rest of her series! Shara Blackwell had been kept in her room for 600 years as punishment, her older brother wanted to kill her on the spot but her father thought she could reflect on what she'd done with her imprisonment. Now, she was given a job to do to show her loyalty to one of the most power Dark Fae on earth and all she had to do was lead a dragon king to her father so that she could finally be on her own without constantly being watched and get her family's approval...

Kiril is one of the few remaining Dragon Kings and he was in Cork to gather answers about where Rhi was being held. Rhi had often put her life in danger by saving most of his brethren and their human wives and he wouldn't fail to rescue her in return. (
