Janey, a young third grader, is terribly excited when her class goes on a field trip to a Literature Festival where her favorite author, Lily May Appleton, is going to be speaking and signing books. Her expectations are smashed when everything seems to go wrong on the big day. While reading she loses track of her classmates and gets lost. An older lady sits down on the bench next to a crying Janey and hears her sad story of the day's events. It turns out that the older lady is Lily May Appleton and she volunteers to help Janey find her class and sign all of the books that she has brought. This is a good choice to read to a class to share the love of books and show how readers develop a fondness for certain authors. ( ) sin reseñas | añadir una reseña
