All color, nice pictures. However, it might be called "The Look of the Century for the Well-to-Do." Most people couldn't indulge, at least at the time when these products were initially released. ( )

As a 20th Century Miniaturist, I am constantly looking for good source material. This book is a terrific compendium of photographs and information on the styles that shaped and were shaped by the Twentieth Century. If you're looking for in-depth information on the whys and hows of a particular design, this is NOT the book for you, but if you want to the 30,000 foot look, this book is just dandy. ( )
