The story of the African American pilots of World War II, the Tuskegee Airmen, told in verse and beautifully illustrated in graphic black and white sketches. Author’s Note, Timeline, Bibliography. I would recommend this book because I never realized that the Tuskegee Airmen were African american soldiers. In my opinion this is a good book if you want to learn more about the planes in WWII. This book has multiple different stories that included the Tuskegee Airmen. Each story goes with when the historical events happened. Also while you are reading the different stories the way they are written is as if you are one of the airmen. This book has the dates that each special event happened. At the beginning of the book it starts off before the war when they were fighting to be able to be in the army. Then it describes, not in full detail, what it took to sign up for the army. sin reseñas | añadir una reseña
