Follis does an honorable job of defending Schaeffer's unique apologetic approach that reveals his reverance and love for Schaeffer the man and not just the symbol. Follis' final chapter on love as the final apologetic is worth buying the whole book. What he argues in conclusion for based off of Schaeffer's philosophy of ministry is an aspect of pastoral ministry that needs to be recovered among more than simply pastors. ( )
