Even though I Hate Fairyland is a quick read, it's funny, fun, and colorful. Been a fan of Skottie Young since his run on Marvel's Oz books. Even though this book may look like it for kids, it's not. Take what Young did in Oz and turn it into a blood bath. I also like how Young writes this book too. Wasn't sure what his writing style was going to be like, but I like the fact it's simple and funny. Too early to tell, but I'm really loving this series so far. The plot was interesting as it followed a grown adult in a child's body because she has been on a quest for almost 30 years. Kinda funny, super violent, somewhat entertaining.
I shan't be continuing it though, the main character is far too brutsh and unlikeable to me. (
